Community Council Funding
Community Council Funding
The Community Council Fund (CCF) is a substantial part of the RHA Budget. The CCF is a specially designated fund from which Hall and Multicultural Councils are able to request additional money with which to supplement their budgets each semester. Money is allocated from the fund to councils based on the merit of the intentions of the supplemental funding, as described by the councils in their application. Requests are submitted to the RHA Vice President for Finance and reviewed by the RHA Allocations and Budget Committee (who prepares a recommendation.) The final decision on CCF requests is made by vote of the RHA Assembly.
Notes:
•You may be awarded less then you ask for or no supplemental funding at all. Do NOT rely on CCF funds until they have been transferred to your SOAS account. There is NO guarantee that you will receive any or all CCF funds that you request
•It is always better to have too much information than too little on CCF request
•The RHA Assembly Representatives from your building will be able to speak to your request before the Assembly votes, it behooves you to have your RHA Assembly Representative knowledgeable of all parts of the CCF request you are making.
