The Residence Halls Association (RHA) is the student government that represents everyone living in affiliated University of Michigan residence halls. To ensure that we operate transparently and fairly, we follow two key documents: our Constitution and our Bylaws.
The Constitution outlines the big picture. It tells us who we are, how we’re organized, and what we stand for. The Bylaws provide more detailed guidance on how we operate, including how elections are run and how formal procedures are carried out.
We’re making these documents available so that all residents can see how decisions are made, how to get involved, and what rights and responsibilities exist within RHA.
