Wellness Week is an end-of-the-semester event to help students destress before finals. It started in the Fall semester of 2019, so this is new event! During the week’s events students have to the opportunity to get snacks, do crafts, enter giveaways, and attend zumba/yoga classes. This year’s events are listed below! Week Long: Be entered into the giveaway by filling out this survey! You will be contacted at the end of the week, if you won. We are raffling off an rha goodie bag!
Monday: RHA will be facilitating a Wellness Workshop in EQ from 5-6. Come to learn more about how to cope with the stress of the season and enter a raffle for an apple watch, wellness kit, or a speaker!
Tuesday: Need a pick me up from the cold and studying? Come to the East Quad CC from 4:30-6pm on Nov.30th to grab a mug full of coffee, teas, cocoa, and more. Supplies limited.
Wednesday: We will be hosting a free Group X yoga class in the West Quad MPR! No experience needed, come ready to move. The first 24 to register and attend will get a post yoga fuel bag with snacks!
Thursday: Stressed out? Want some therapeutic goodies? Want to do guided meditation? Come to the multipurpose room at cozens anytime from 6:30 to 7:30pm to get a goodie bag. At 7:00 CAPS is holding a guided meditation. Come grab a bag and feel free to stay for the meditation!
Friday: Finals suck but cookies don’t! Come to the West Quad CC from 1-3pm decmeber 2nd to get free cookies! CAPS flyers and other information will be available also, dont forget to check on yourself!
Sunday: Take a break from studying and come on a free trip to the Matthaei Botanical Gardens, only 15 minutes away from campus! We’ll be meeting outside the Michigan League and taking a bus to enjoy a relaxing, 2 hour stay in the Botanical Gardens! This trip is free to all residents. We’re so excited to have you! (: Register on sessions to ensure your spot on the bus!
