Returning Representatives

As of January 11th, 2017, RHA has implemented a new policy which allows Hall Council, Multicultural Council, and Combined Council members to have guaranteed housing by serving as an RHA Representative for the following academic year. In order to create such change, the constitution was altered according to Assembly Resolution 61-02. At this  time, non-council residents are unable to enter this process, although we would like to see this program expand in the future. The process for the 2018-2019 Academic year is outlined below

  1. Register for the standard returning Housing system here by January 17th
  2. Fill out the Returning Representative Application and submit to rha.rep.selection@umich.edu by January 23rd
  3. Inform your Hall Director that you are applying for this position
  4. Optional: Send a letter of recommendation from someone in your community who can speak to your involvement to rha.rep.selection@umich.edu
  5. RHA will inform you of your standing prior to February 1st
